What a summer we’re having! Warwickshire Open Studios’ 2025 Summer Art Weeks already seems like a distant memory. This was my second year of taking part in the event, exhibiting with a group of 6 artists at the lovely venue St Laurence’s, Rowington. We had a steady flow of visitors over our weekend, and it was great to meet and chat to so many new faces and returning customers alike. And boy, it was great being inside that lovely cool church while it was so hot outside! Looking forward to doing it all again next year!

Two of my most popular ring designs are the Heart Cut Out Hammered Rings and the Trailing Jasmine Rings which are consistently favourited by customers. This has inspired me to create coordinating pendant designs to complement them.

Heart Cut Out Hammered Pendant
The Cut Out Hearts Collection features unique, hand-sawn heart designs, each one individually pierced from sterling silver. Finished with a hammered texture, these pieces are as distinctive as the person who wears them - a beautiful reminder of love and individuality. This pendant is perfect for those who want to wear their heart on display, a statement of love and personal style.

Trailing Jasmine Pendant
The Trailing Jasmine Collection is inspired by the graceful beautiful jasmine plants that climb the fences around my garden. Each piece is individually handcrafted, with the delicate flowing, organic design hand-pierced from silver using my tiny jeweller’s saw. This means that no two pieces are ever identical - each one a truly unique piece of botanical design jewellery. Perfect for lovers of nature-inspired silver jewellery, crafted to celebrate the beauty of the natural world. This handmade rectangular pendant hangs effortlessly from its chain to allow the organic floral pattern to grace your neckline.

Stratford-upon-Avon Art Society
Summer Exhibition 2025
After the success of the “Shakespeare’s Gems” pendants that I created for last year’s exhibition, I have thought long and hard about what to make this year. It turns out, that I haven’t quite got the Shakespeare theme out of my system, and so I am currently working on another set of unique one-off pendants, each one inspired by a Shakespeare play.

Here's a little sneak preview of one of my preliminary design sketches.
(I always tell people I can't draw. They don't believe me. Here's evidence!)
Can you guess the play?
If you missed the Shakespeare's Gems pieces last year, you can see them here:
The exhibition will be open daily from 13th to 24th August at King Edward VI school in the centre of Stratford. Every year there is a fabulous array of artwork on display, by so many talented local artists. Do visit if you can.

Happy Customers
It’s always wonderful to receive feedback from customers. Here are a couple of the reviews I have received recently:
“This is a beautiful piece. And the packaging was lovely too. You can tell how much
loves her work and how much love she puts into it. Thank you”

"I LOVE my earrings (& packaging!) Paula! Beautiful, thank you!!"

I love to see my pieces being worn too, so do please share your pictures with me on Facebook or Instagram.

I'll share a special magic trick with you for cleaning silver chains.
Thank You For Your Support
That’s all for now. Thank you, as always, for supporting my handmade jewellery business.
With very best wishes,
Paula
