Hammered Heart Silver Stud Earrings

Hand made using traditional methods. The heart shapes were drawn freehand and cut from sheet sterling silver using a piercing saw. They were filed then sanded with abrasive paper to smooth the edges and remove scratches. Next they textured by hammering and then posts were soldered onto the backs before they were pickled to remove the fire scale caused by the blow torch. Finally they were cleaned and polished to give them their lovely sparkle.
