How this jewellery was made ↓

Made by hand using traditional silversmithing methods. The design was drawn freehand onto the strip of silver, and then holes were drilled to enable the tiny blade of the piercing saw to pass through for cutting. All the rough edges were then filed and sanded, and a bail soldered to the top. It was then pickled to help with removal of fire scale, cleaned up and polished to give the pendant a lovely shiny finish.
